it could be from the medication. I got clicking in my ears and very sensitive ears from paroxetine which I only lasted on for 5 days and believe it or not it took some months for my ears to go back to normal but I may have caused it to linger by focusing on it.
How is your medication going by the way? Are the side effects settling are you feeling any relief?
I was getting the Whooshing before my medication and yes I to have had really sensitive sore ears recently but I find I ain't getting bad side affects from the medication anymore I just feel like they are not working altho I can't seem to be able to cry now I feel numb. I also have the clicking in my ears and also get it in my nose it is horrible but I had all of these symptoms before starting my medication. I was put on 100 mg yesterday they finally put the meds up so will have to see how they work for me now it has been put up
I get lots of pressure in my ears and sometimes my hearing goes weird.
YES! I found this by googling that exact phrase. So glad to hear i'm not the only one. YEs I get a whooshing sound in my ears whenever my heart rate picks up. Several times i've just been sitting down (like right now). It also at times has caused my ears to feel really sore. And I also notice that if i let myself get really emotional to the point of tears my entire head feels like it's shaking violently and my ears start popping and shaking. I am under an immense amount of stress. The other thing is that if i make myself stay pretty still and control my breathing the sound slows down instantly and might even stop, except that as soon as i start moving or take a breath inward, the sound picks back up. One of my biggest hurdles is accepting that this is actually anxiety, because i get physical symptoms of anxiety without the emotional feeling. So i just start experiencing physical symptoms and freak out. IT's awful. i wish everyone reading this the very best! I will go back on Lexapro soon and hope that will help. I also take xanax but i find that it just makes me sleepy for the most part. And that's not what i am really looking for.
Heythere, For me it's when I'm about to go out somewhere. Being agoraphobic, my anxiety level goes up and the whooshing in the ears starts. It doesn't last too long but certainly makes me question going anywhere.
