Paroxetine/Paxil

Does anyone have any experience with Paroxetine/Paxil? I was prescribed it many weeks ago and am starting to think I may need to take it, despite my reluctance. Any help greatly appreciated.

I took paxil. Had a super lot of energy, not panicked, I got on my exercise bike and rode like crazy. Felt revved. That kind of energy was too much for me so I stopped, but I maybe should have tried longer. No other symptoms.

I have been taking Paroxetine for over twenty years. It stopped the horrific thoughts I was experiencing . I can never see me being able to come off it. It is not the panacea for all ills . I still get bouts of depression and anxiety but have had a lot to cope with including BC.

Give it a try , it's the only way to find out. You can always stop taking them if you feel awful.

Hello. Don't take it!! I know, we are all different an May have a different experience. I, can only tell you mine. It gave terrible brain zaps, hot flashes, headaches, etc. it was very hard to get off this medication....
