Heart problem?

I had a 5 day monitor a few weeks ago and the Diagnosis was automatic atrial tachycardia. And sinus tachycardia. He said if I start on 5mg of propanalol 3 times a day. I'm

Really worried it's somthing bad? Anyone suffer with this? X

I am not a doctor so cannot give medical advise but I do believe this is something that quite a few people have & is not life threatening

Did you ask your doctor if is was serious while you were there or are you like me & went into instant fear & could not say a thing & then once home the panic sets in

I would take the medication the doctor has prescribed & maybe make a list of all the questions you have over this , make another appointment & ask the doctor to answer them so you can have peace of mind

Try & stay positive as if it was really serious they would not have just sent you home & said take this med they would have had you straight in the hospital & now you have had the tests done they can treat you so you will stay for & healthy

Hi I suffer from tacycardia and take beta blockers twice a day which has really helped sinus tachycardia is normal. I am sure it is to do with my anxiety the more you worry about the worse it is you will be fine on the medication. Good luck xx
