I've just come back from a few days away, all day I've had tingly hands/fingers and my arms feel weird, feel dizzy, chest feels abit tight, really frightened, I thought this would only happen if I wa hyperventilating, which I'm not, confused and hate feeling this way, any answers really appreciated x

I've felt like ur feeling right now and I went to the doctors and the said its anxiety, I thought I was really ill but its part of anxiety, but for peice of mind get checked out xxx hope u feel beta soon xxx

Being somewhere different, out of you comfort zone perhaps can cause anxiety. Maybe take note of how you feel after a few days and if you can directly relate the anxiety to the action of going away maybe you can be aware and put in place some things to ease it next time you're away . . . . taking familiar objects/ phoning home/ going for only one night etc

Thank you both, I'm anxious most of the time, these symptoms just feel different/worse than usual, and I'm really frightened that it's something bad, just spent half an hour crying about it, phoned my mum etc, dreading getting in bed, got a feeling it's going to be a long night x
