Update on GP visit

Thanks every one who answered my post. Seen GP today, he's put me on omeprazole tablets. He thinks it's a hiatus hernia. I've got to try the tablets for six weeks.

Thanks why why, will let you all know. This isn't helping my anxiety, my thoughts are running wild about what it might be! Can't sleep worrying up at 3 am. Still this isn't going to help.

Sorry Lorie you couldnt sleep , I hope you did eventually

I would be just the same , but eventually I would get my head thinking how it should think & keep saying to myself the GP knows what they are doing the tablets will get me better & I will be ok , I no its not easy to think this way when the anxiety takes over but try telling yourself over again , everything will be ok , even when you dont believe it & eventually I find myself settling down

Hey Loire, what symptoms do h get with this? They can vary so much but I still get lots of pain ect and to begin with a and e gave me these pills and said this is what I had. I was convinced I had heart problems but that's all clear now but I stopped my meds not sure it's worth going back on them. Hope u slept well xx

Hi LoopyL210. Sorry about delay internet went down. Burning 24 hrs a day. Feels heavy like I've got food sitting their. Anxiety issues panic attacks and shaking. Eating more carefully now and trying not to worry.

This sounds like Cassie hiatus hernia Hun Iam an endoscopy nurse and see lots of these. Omprazole will help u and anxiety makes gastric problems worse xxx
