Meds Fright

Hi to all my friends ,has anybody any experience of Venlafaxine just been to GP and been prescribed them the side effects look scary dont know if I will try them petrified.Love to you all.xxx

Hi, I haven't any experience of that tablet. I got really told off by all my family for reading the side effects of mine. I scared myself silly about taking them and I googled aswell!!! I didn't get any of the side effects that I thought I would get and 5mths down the line I think they are finally kicking in! Xx

Erstchay i took these for two weeks following on from citalopram and noticed itching alot and palps. However i get palps anyway. That all i noticed. Everyone different you may get nothing. Some dont. You can try a day at a time and see. It not that hard to stop them after a few days. If you do fet effects they do subside .

I have never took them , but the big mistake I make with any meds is reading the side effects & as soon as I have well thats it , I have every side effect listed before I have even swallowed one

Even if its only 2 people in so may thousands that have reported something , now a days they have to list it , but thats what you have to remember , most of the time it says very rare with what they mention

You can only try them , say just for today I will take one & see how you are , I think you will be fine , but I do understand what the fear is like

I've been on it. My worst problem was sweating, and it's not easy to come off, but it is pretty good.

Been on then 6 years at 75mg have no intention of coming off them at least not in the near future.

It seems that every drug that you get these days, whether over the counter or prscribed, comes with a list of terrifying side effects as long as your arm.
