Sertraline during pregnancy

Hi sarah
I really dont have the answer to this but wanted to say hello & Welcome
I would think your GP , would be the person that could advise you on this better than anyone else
You could always ask your midwife as they can be very good as you will no , as this is your 5th baby
If you still are unsure , mention it to your GP again & if they say its ok , then I would trust their judgement on this
I hope you keep talking on the site , you will get lots of support , even if we dont always have the answers

Hi Sarah
Can understand your concern and worry about taking medication while being pregnant. Like whywhy suggested speak with your Gp for reassurance and if this fails speak to your midwife who will then advise you.
Hope you can find some peace of mind as this is another worry you do not want while being pregnant.
Please let us know how you get on.
Best wishes

Hi, I will explain who I am. I work for Sure Start and am the lead breast feeding professional. I run a breast feeding group and have volunteers who I have trained to become peer supporters. I also deliver training to other staff members.
Ok so you are now on trazodone which an antidepressant and according to my breast feeding bible! Trazodones effect on nursing infants is not known.
As Whywhy said tell your midwife what your fears are
