Hi bonnie, I wish we both didn't feel this way, I just want to cry.
Yes I no, I have done plenty of that so far today, its so dam punishing, I cant even get motivated for anything, its like no life in me anymore. Take a Diazepam, and see if it helps, I have and it has helped a little. roll on bedtime, the only time I don't feel to bad. we will all get there in the end.

In my opinion, even to help anxiety from flying, you need at least 10-20 mg diazepam to help kick anxiety into touch. In other tough times, it is the only med that has ever worked for me. I would give it ten out of ten, just don't take it long term as it will become too easy to stop taking.Treat it with respect and it will help you.Take care.
Thank you Chris, I am a bit nervous of taking higher, as I once took 5mg, and it made me so sleepy, I no 2,5 low, maybe I will brave it, just don't want to go to sleep, I don't take it often I must admit, I took yesterday and this morning, but as you say low, and has made not much difference,

I see, well it depends on your build and tolerance, but I really wouldn't worry about 5 -10 mg. You've gotta take a lot more than that to be knocked out ot overdose.I find the best way is to take on empty stomach and to just place the tablet dissolve under tongue and go into your body that way, just see what works for you. If it just to knock the edge of anxiety diazepam is good, but for occasional insomnia, night nurse is very good OTC. Zolpidem (Stilnox) is a very good RX med, which does knock you out and allow you a full nights uninterrupted sleep.Prob is, not sure if NHS prescribe it, they give out Zopiclone, which isn't as good in my opinion.
Thanks for the advice Chris.
You are welcome, we all know its hard to get good advice from a decent GP.In times of need I have used a UK based company AirmailChemist, which I have used for many years. Delivers RX meds, genuine and reliable and fast.I can vouch for them. Each to their own, but I know diazepam is very very hard to get from a GP these days.We are here to help each other.
My doc gave me 5mg diazepam which I found did nothing for my anxiety, I am about 5'8 and 14 stone so maybe the dose is too low.
Thanks for the help Chris, i really appreciate it.
I would stick to what your GP , has told you to do LM , if it were me , they no other meds you take & your health history , have a word with them , if they are happy to up your dose
We can share experiences , but we are not medically trained

Hi Bonnie and London man, no my history is basically I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist with PTSD xmas 2012, which I had got from 2003 in Iraq. I decided to go for help in 2008 in another part of the UK and Dr after Dr just said anxiety/depression, gave me 3/4 different anti depressants, which just made me fat, more down and zero sex drive. They would only give me diazepam for flying anxiety. In the end I just ditched the AD's went cold turkey alone- absolute horrid, and then self medicated for several years on diazepam, being very careful and sensible. Now I will get proper help from Combat Stress. I still have an emergency supply of diazepam, for dire times, but am really trying to turn life around, using Rhodiola Rosea (Viridian) from Revital and exercising well, keeping the ale at bay does help. I'd be helpless without Airmailchemist tho. There is a lot of dodgy firms out there and meds from India etc, but this firm's meds are all fully packaged, labelled just like any normal chemist.
