You tap your energy meridians the same as the ones used in accupuncture and you talk to yourself, positive stuff while you are doing it to unblock all the negative energy and let in the positive. you dont tap hard, you do it a little softly lol xxx

Have posted a selection of videos. I find this really works for my anxiety. Yes you might look or feel a little silly but I do it in private anyway which I imagine most people do. Give it a go... nothing to loose :) Hope it helps, even if just a little xxxx

When I went for it I was sat across from a man showing me how to do it , I dont think that helped me

I have given it a go , I think my problems go a little deeper , but when I get more on top of those , the tapping might be something that might help

my problems definitely stem deeper than tapping but it helps a little and a little is better than nothing. It helped most when I woke up and my stomach was full of anxiety. You'll get ontop of them I'm sure :) xxxxx

Well I have & i went to have some of it once

For me , I am sorry as I no it can & does work for some , but I couldnt stop laughing , it made my anxiety worse , sat there tapping , & i couldnt feel a difference other than feeling silly

But that was me , even though I have known others that really rate it

I first read about the tapping technique in one of Paul McKenna's books and seems to involve tapping beneath the eye, the wrist, on top of the hand and either side of the collar bone - and I soon realised you can use this technique for many learnt anxieties because it reprogrammes part of the brain before it was conditioned to respond in a certain way. It's pretty effective. But it does take a couple of attempts and practise - and the person should really be engaged in what they're doing. As I can see, it doesn't work for everyone. Glad it helps some people though, I had forgotten about it till recently.

I will give this a try. Never heard of it before. Thank you x

I would just say, be really engaged in it, go into a quiet room and be alone. and try it a handful of times. Best of luck :) let me know how it goes xxx

Shall do anything is worth a try. How are you today roserose? X

I did this when I was having hypnotherapy for my anxiety, I just laughed to, I had to sing nursery rhymes to make me laugh as I felt really silly doing it. I think really it's a distraction technique xxx
