Advice please

This is day 4 on meds,I have had bad bad stomach tightness and no sleep.i have walked for miles today,my anxiety has dropped considerably.which is great.i am new to all this.could it be the meds working (4days not along time)or am I setting myself up for a fall

Sertraline 50g I feel loads better,head feels a bit wired

It could be the meds starting to help - they tend to have a fairly immediate energising effect but then take a while to level off in their effects.Until you've had them in your system long enough to settle there's probably no real way of telling if they are helping or if you're just feeling a bit more positive at the moment.

(I didn't want to put just feeling a bit more positive as there is no just about it but I couldn't think of another way to phrase it!)

Thanks for that,I woke up this morning after 2 hours sleep,feeling dreadfull and my nerves and anxiety pain going through the roof.is this normal ?

Hi bramble ican relate to you As I am taking setraline but I'm on 100mg but first few days when I took it i felt like I was bouncing off the walls and nothing could stop me. But did have a few side effects was feeling sick and painful stomach but settled down after a few days. The do have a pretty immediate effect I've been on it quite some time. I'm sure it's the meds starting to Orkney but it needs to level out the amount of serotonin in the brain to help working effectively. Xxx

hi thanks for relpy,had a good day 6,anxiety was low,but delt a bit paniky.then had no sleep at all so back it came and really bad to day.what day did you first feel any better on the sertraline?

I think it was about a week into it aside been taking it for the past couple years now, how are you gettin on do u take it in the morning or at night? Xxx

Take it in the morning,taking zopiclone at night,but no sleep last night,anxiety is raging today,climbing the walls
