I'm due to fly in just under a week,my anxiety gets really bad the day of my flight and I make myself physically ill, anyone got tips on ways to reduce this happening.i do take propanolol which takes edge of the attacks but not the physical symptoms.if I was terrified of flying I'd not get on a plane just get anxious because its an enclosed space and a height phobia I have.

Hi Lynne

Dr Claire weekes has a book on agoraphobia and I noticed this includes travelling. It might be worth checking with the library to see if they have a copy or check amazon. I have the self help for your nerves and it feels like she's talking to you.. I feel calm when I read her book. Love eve x

Thanks for your reply I have actually read her books and when it's comes to my anxiety about flying it didn't help me much,I have to just focus on my destination rather than my fear of enclosed spaces. X
