Standing
Hi Teabags
Sorry to see you are feeling so bad today
I have felt like you , its not a nice feeling
I have come to the conclusion for me my anxiety takes so much out of me , it can be so draining , that eventually it can make me physically ill , or have the symptoms of been ill
So leaving me feeling weak , as if I have had a really bad illness & cant even put one foot in front of the other
I no you have been to the GP over the years so many times & we feel like we cant go anymore , they are fed up with us , I would say if this passes its anxiety , & yet something else to add to the list of how it can make us feel , on the other hand if you still feel this way in a few days , I would go to the GP , as from your other post , you could be suffering from a ear problem or vertigo , or something like that , not all our symptoms are anxiety , even though at times my GP seems to use my anxiety for everything , but there have been times when I have pushed & said not this one , so they have took me more serious & have found for instance I get vertigo
Maybe this has been no use , but I do hope you feel better soon
Love

Hi Whywhy Yes it almost I have been over the shop, which made me have some small adrenaline rushes as I call them, and took the my dog up the field it was like walking on an air cushion, the doctor did say to have my ears done but I just can't face the surgery.Thank you
This sounds like your problem then Teabags
I understand what you are saying about facing having your ears done & believe me there is no one worse than me having things done
But that is quite simple what they do , you hardly feel a thing & the relief after , is so worth it
I hope in time you might be able to face it as I no it would be such a benefit to you & the feelings you feel now , its awful , I have had them , much better to have them done if you can find the strength , as you feel so much better after

I can only agree with whywhy.Because of my anxiety I don't go out much and so have much less exercise than normal.Often after being inactive for some time I try to walk somewhere and find my legs are like jelly and I feel faint.
I find standing too long when I'm anxious can make me feel a bit faint and then that in turn causes me to feel panicky. I'm having quite a few heart 'waves' it feels as if it misbeats for a moment. I guess thats what causes the feeling of panic in case i collapse which I know won't happen. My ears also feel like i'm in a tunnel. cotonroad
How old are you?
hi teabags, the feeling of walking on air is definately anxiety related ,i have this when my anxiety rises, one thing to try is when your walking, imagine every step you take, your foot is stuck in the ground, imagine yourself pulling it out, then repeat with each step ,this will ground you,and stop you thinking of your lighthead.walking in your bare feet in the garden also helps..sounds daft I know but I have tried it and it does work, also dont forget to breathe ,especially when your standing, this also stops light head..take care love miarose.xxxx
I have an allotment and gardening has been my salvation.
