Guys we really need to sort ourselves out. We have choices. We have opinions we have freedom if we choose. let's get it it together!!! Love.....
Thank God you are not Amanda berry!!!!! - Anxiety Support
Thank God you are not Amanda berry!!!!!
Or any of them poor ladies. That sort of thing makes me never want to leave my house. Prison is too good for them, they need torturing, not given 3 meals a day and an X Box and TV. Xxx
Yes very very sad....lots of people worse off and suffering bless them.....
If I could just" get it together "I would believe me!!
We cannot let the off-season nutters dictate our freedom. Life is about adventure and that means taking (reasonable) risks. I refuse to be dictated too by the crazy!!! I am life and I will have freedom. .........
So much evil in the world, or So it seems. There are some seriously strange people around and seems to be so much in the news lately it's hard to escape it...
Also so much kindness. shame we don't hear more about the good things.
So true, just a shame the good news doesn't often make the news!
I agree, at least end the news on a positive note. Even the local news is all doom and gloom.xxx
i agree but if its that easy what are you doing on here?
Wot!! I am on here because it's a great place to express yourself and get positive feedback. Its not that easy... but unleashed hope. I've travelledarounda bit and hv had some situations. Good folks hv helped. wots yr prob! Love get a . Life.........
i have never understood what i have started to call the "pain equation" - a strangely popular form of modern maths. It seems to suggest that the world has only so much suffering to go round, so learning about someone else's pain minimises ours.
Not true: does my migraine make your toothache less painful? No, of course not. Suffering isn't equitable - some people do suffer far more than others - but it IS personal. I can only suffer my pain, not yours - although I can empathise with yours. Am I glad I'm not Amanda Berry,or the other abused women found with her? Of course I am. Does THEIR suffering make mine any less? Sorry, but no! Suffering is nasty, vicious, painful, whatever it is and whoever is experiencing it!
And as for - Get a Life - I know everyone on here would LOVE to "Get a life" - our problem is that mental health problems, couple with or exacerbated by, personal circumstances, make "getting a life" so very hard. If it wasn't, we wouldn't be here, would we???
Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who worked with the poorest of the poor in India, was interviewed when she came to England. The interviewer asked her a question along the lines that, in view of the dire poverty in India, the poorest person in the UK probably did not seem poor to her.
"Not at all." replied Mother Tereza. "They are still the poorest person in the UK."
Go figure!
