Head wont explode, madness is a mad moment in time, nothing is real or right or wrong, just mad,let the thoughts run around, let them go,they will leave in a wisp of air and be no more but less and less, tis but fate.
Baggins is right. Your head won't explode neither will you go mad but you do have to stop fighting it.
I know it's counter intuitive you want to go on trying to push the thoughts away but the more you interact with the thoughts the stronger they get and the blacker the storm in your mind gets. So let go.
Let the thoughts swirl around but distance yourself.
Imagine you are on an island: a huge storm is swirling around you but you are safe. Nothing can reach you on your island.
I know it sounds daft but it does work ~ with practise it will buy you time away from the chaos in your head. Use that time to practise your breathing techniques.
