over thinking or worrying ?

That was happening to me for awhile. I would wake up startled, immediately stomachache. My daughter was in a really bad marital situation. She would call crying in the middle of the night. Then I developed high blood pressure and the dr couldn’t bring it down and my anxiety was thru the roof. I had to monitor it during the day and it wouldn’t go down. By now I couldn’t even calm down enough to sleep. My resting pulse was 95, should be 70. Finally I was given lorazepam for anxiety and blood pressure was controlled by the proper medication. I was not sure about taking anxiety meds but I finally felt better. I think in my situation the anxiety was very bad for my health, I ended up in ER once.
Besides the meds, walking around my yard on a sunny day helped alot, and sometimes a distraction like movie or book helped. Still on the meds though but I am older and I see the results of untreated anxiety since childhood as chronic daily pain.
I tried to stay away from thoughts about going crazy. I grew up with crazy.
Keep trying, even favorite music can help. If it affects your health then I would recommend talking to dr. 🌹✌🏻
thank you so much i’ve been talking to my therapist about it and she’s teaching me a couple of ways to deal with it hopefully i learn to manage it really soon anxiety sucks so glad you got it under control 💛
Yes. I deal with this daily. The only thing I can suggest is to keep your mind busy. Keep yourself occupied. Maybe go for walks, runs, get out in Nature, try using lavender oil, hot showers, listen to calming music, deep breathing, stretching. There's different things you can do, but I can't lie.. the anxiety will still remain, but it will lessen. And maybe in time, it'll completely fade away. Find a small hobby that might get you out of your head for a little bit. I wish you luck!
