severe agoraphobic life

You are not alone tinyfairy... Let me Welcome you to a safe and caring site.
There are many people in this community who are agoraphobic.
I suffered myself from Agoraphobia for 5 years. Never leaving my home.
Windows covered with blankets. Didn't answer the doorbell or phone.
Five years in never putting my head out the door to get the mail.
Five years in not seeing a soul except my therapist and/or doctor and
nurses that came to my home.
The fear was over whelming but I didn't know what i feared outside my
home. Through therapy I found that the fear of something was deep inside
me and wasn't outside but a thought that was buried deep within.
With time and taking small steps, I finally broke the walls that kept me
enclosed and a prisoner in my own home.
It Can and it Will be done when the time is right and you are ready.
I am so happy you reached out for help. We are here to support you and
let you know that you know you are not alone. xx
Gosh I'm so sorry and thank you, even a little inspiration helps I guess, may the God keep us from those down feelings🙏🏻
tinyfairy, I am no longer Agoraphobic. I am here to support and pass

Agora1, I’d like to hear it too. I’ve been able to walk yo stores a couple times a week, but it’s hard. I keep working on it.
Catsuit53 Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia go hand in hand

Meanwhile, As YouTube was always my go to in learning about my issues as well as solutions, let me recommend a video to listen to.

helpful videos regarding all aspects of Anxiety/Panic Disorder.

I think you will find it enlightening xx
I deal with this as a result of my panic disorder, you are not alone
I am agoraphobic. I can't handle going out much at all. The only time I can sort of handle going out is to the grocery store or Walmart occasionally, but not too often. I go once or twice a month with my Mom to the grocery store but that is about all I can handle. I can't even handle going to appointments if I can help it. They usually come to the house or I have my appointments online or over the phone. I can't handle going out of the house much. Yesterday was the first time in a while I actually went for a walk with my Mom and the dog.
