My daughter has been in the behavior unit of the hospital for a week now. She's an adult and has had a manic episode. What's ahead for us? Anyone been down this road? I'm experiencing a lot of fear and anxiety because of the unknown future.

I don't have any personal experience with this other than a co worker.

Her story .... After discharge she went to out patient therapy. Her meds are straightened out and she is back to work. She was on leave for about two months

I wish your daughter the best

Thanks so much. She may be going to an inpatient therapy place. There's hope. Thank you.
