Not sure what's going on

This is the third night this week that I have woken up in the middle of the night feeling very stressed out. My body feels like it is trembling and I think that my heart is racing. However, my pulse is fine. I've never been diagnosed with anxiety before so I'm guessing that is what it is. I don't know what to do to calm myself. What can I do to rest? I seem to be worried about everything (kids, getting a job, taking care of the house, etc.)

Try taking slow deep breaths in through your nose , then out through your mouth, it's very helpful to calm yourself. Are you getting any help? I wish for you peace of mind. Love & hugs!!!

Thanks for your support. I'm going to look up some breathing exercises and thought about seeing what apps might be out there. I haven't seen anyone for this-it just sort of hit me suddenly this week. I'm also going to watch my diet (better food and no caffeine) and exercise. If it doesn't get better, I've got to see someone. I don't like feeling this way.

I have been up every night this week as well. Last night I took a benedryl and it helped. Hoping you can get rest tonight ❤️

Thanks, I will try benedryl if it happens again. Hope you get some rest also.

I too had this sensation. I went and got gatorade and it helped. Maybe something to do with not enough electrolytes. Maybe have that checked?. But I also get this with my panic attacks. Hope this helps.
