I've gone through heavy bouts of anxiety for the last 10 years.....My line of work contributes to anxiety a lot....I just go in thinking that I will survive the day and leave the evil at the doorstep when I walk out....I focus on the fact that I won't be in this work purgatory for much longer....hope and love are what keep me going

my story is a lot more complex than what I tell....a lot of people who have heard my full story cringe and ask me how I've done what I do for as long as I have....Can't answer that with any certainty...hasn't been easy....unfortunately I am very good at hiding my feelings and emotions......fortunately the people that really love me see through my smoke screen and keep pushing me to get the help...I hate being a high functioning ptsd/gad survivor....struggle every day

Yes. I have anxiety. It's led to a lot of socially anxious situations for me. Practice being hopeful and don't force yourself into going outside of where you're comfortable too much. Do what you can handle. That has helped me.

So sorry you are going through this. You might want to try meditating. Just going small steps. Walk outside , then add 5 minutes. Keep adding time to become comfortable. From there transition to going to a location. If you can’t go inside that’s okay. Keep going back until you can. Once inside small steps. Eventually your panic response will learn you are okay and allow you to do more. Just take your time. You will get there.

can I suggest to all involved to do some research on cognitive behavior therapy and cognitive distortions....it helps a lot to have ideas of what to do and misguided beliefs about what causes our anxiety
