Taking it easy

Recently I was prescribed lexapro for my anxiety and it’s day three for me today!

The first day was not great as I took it at night, I didn’t get any sleep whatsoever but then yesterday took it in the afternoon and it’s been a process! Trying to learn when it works best for me and feeling off kinda like as if I’m back to square one with my anxiety but I’ve been talking a lot with friends and family and that helps a lot!

I also had to remind myself it’s only temporary and I’ve experienced this feeling before and that I can prevail.

anyways last night I was finally able to sleep through the night despite being anxious and I’m proud of myself.

Baby steps guys! Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Thank you I keep trying to remind myself that! Every small thing is a win!

Hi Kiwi,Well done for working out the best time to take your meds. Unfortunately, we have different chemistries so meds is pretty much trial & error. Getting a good night's sleep will make the new day so much better. Often we don't see this as a priority in looking after ourselves 🤔

Hi Kiwi177, I also take Lexapro, but for depression. It took me three days to get used to it, but starting to feel better with it. I also take it at night. Good luck with it.😊😊
