Today my princess crossed her final journey into the rainbow 🌈 ❤️

After nearly 13 years I'm absolutely devastated from parting terms with my beautiful cat, she was a big part of my sober journey, she was sassy, attitude and her tail would never stop flicking around, I'm not ashamed to say I cried in the vet's and I can't imagine another pet replacing her, i can't handle the grief of ever going through this awful journey again, tomorrow I'm taking paw prints and I shall say a few words and she's going to be next to her other feline friend, I had her from the age of 6 weeks, and a part of me went with her today 💔 😢 I shall miss her immensely 🙏

I’m so sorry about your loss . I lost my beautiful pet last year on Valentines Day. It literally broke my heart into. She was so loving and special . My heart goes out to you . I said the same thing about not wanting to replace her. Pets are like your children you know. I always try and remember the joy she brought to our lives. Im sure she loved you so much. I m so sorry for your loss.I lost my 5 year old Manx cat in 2023 and I cried for months. I felt like a piece of my soul went with him. I said I wouldn't get another but a stray kitten showed up and needed help and I love her too, it actually helped my grief because it was not a replacement for my other cat, but a new soul that needed help and felt I was honoring my gone ahead cat by helping g another.

I am so sorry you lost your beloved kitty, our pets become a big part of our lives especially when we have mental health issues. They bring us such comfort and do not judge us they just love us unconditionally. I lost my Amy girl in Sep. and even though I have another dog I miss her so much she was just always a calming presence for me. At this moment you won't be feeling like you will ever get another pet but somewhere down the line please get another your precious cat would not want you to be alone. All of us on the site that have pets can relate to your sadness.
