my MANAGER is very bad she does not know anything about process , few time i corrected her and now she is not going to renew my contract it is very stressful to find a new job when you want to work only remote as it is only suitable as i need to look after my son. i m very stressed . my communication skills are not as good to strike a chemistyry with manager and despite effort i m not able to change my personality trait. i have been brought up by negligient and sexually abusive parents and i am not able to come out of the after effect of this like getting into a career which i do not like much . i m ok with what i am doing but i m not able to update myself and learning new technology . i wish i would have died before choosing this wrong career.

It's new ideas that will be able to get contract or adding your service value to your industry. Respond with professional insight into their problems. Adding something what other people can do won't help. Pretend you are the manager what would make you invaluable ie special help or advise or more options. Just trying to help.

you are right for sometime i m struggling with unmet expectation which are taking their toll at this age ,with this self management issue i hardly find it easy to manage myself. i am happy for your help and response , at least these response give some insight

i m not able to understand how to take one thing at a time , career switch even i try is difficult, do not find any teaching job at this age , they prefer female and less aged person for primary section which are trained , i m an engg and not having personal qualification

Have you tried explaining exactly what you just said to your manager, and then make amends, your not intending to be confrontational, your just not left with very good social tools to deal with people, hence....it's why you work at home. If your good at your job, that's something to bring up as well.

its just how regression test suite is designed using industry best practice . she is the one one who dont respect any process and few such instance where her no logical point of was not having any result and was tedious i pointed out . like in regression executing all test cases with all screen shot documentation has her led to believe i m not of her kind. none want to be with the person who is not not of his kind

The problem with some management is that they may not be as skilled as some workers are, but they are able to make hard choices which is what management does. And as long as they are the boss, and you are the employee... it's a hierarchy you have to respect their position, and when you are confrontational, or seem to not be able to reason with them about an issue, they cannot be seen to their bosses to be able to keep the team flowing.

Even though you may be right...it's not your call to correct them...sometimes you just suck it up and go through the motions. If something doesn't work right in the end...it's falls on them. What does it matter anyway really, as long as your getting a paycheck. I started my own business because I wanted the salary the guy having be do all the work and getting the big bucks for it. So I did. There are many work at home jobs, our oldest here works for the bank fraud department from home on a specialized remote system. I've had other friends in securities management systems work from home.
