I've been mostly a shut-in for many months now. All summer went by without me leaving my apt.

Went to the Hospital in September when I had chest pains. Luckily, they didn't find any blockages.

I swore to myself that I'd exercise and eat better. That lasted 6 weeks.

Yesterday I walked to the corner store which is about 3 blocks away and almost collapsed. I was out of breath and my legs were so weak.

I have bad social anxiety/agoraphobia which forced me in , in the first place and now , physically I am scared to go out as well.

Not sure what to do.. I just wanted to type this out to someone who might find it.

See a doctor for a check up; then slowly and with the doctor's OK start an exercise program and begin eating better. Doing these two things may give you a focus and make you feel a little more optimistic.

Is your apt/house large enough to just walk back & forth, or to make the rounds of the place? Makes a big difference to me, as lying in bed all day is the worst - and painful! Are you older? Some towns/cities have visiting helpers who might get you going in a positive way. Sorry to hear of your pain.
