I have been struggling with my mental health for a very long time. Certain things trigger me and make things worse while others make me feel better.

What are some things that you do to make yourself feel better when you're feeling down?

Elvis Presley or Taylor Swift or Madonna to Symphony . Otherwise it's netflix and I am watching 'Downtown Abbey' or korean dramas not Korean but I enjoy subtitles

Youtube, you can watch anything on it, music, trailers, funny videos just google

Do you have pets? I love my pet. He relaxes me.

Sometimes I just like sitting and looking out the window. I need to exercise to keep my depression at bay and if I go too many days without it I can feel it.

Yeah, it's hard to beat a pet, particularly a dog (or, evidently, a miniature horse, though I'll leave that one for others to try....)

whatever you do. Don’t watch tv. It’s all bad news on there, tv commercials about health, suing people and then the news is all bad. With that said I watch comedy movies or stand up. I have been really into Conan o’brein on max and Jim gaffigan is awesome! Always go for a walk if you can. Even if it’s for 5 minutes it always helps me, better to do it outside then at a gym the fresh air is great and you tend to notice nature. Find a hobby you like and concentrate on it, even if it’s something goofy, like I will look at realtor.com and look at houses even though I have no intentions on buying one but it’s something to do that distracts me from my anxiety. Pets are great too and they can go on the walk with you. Take away the negativity in your life the best you can. It’s not easy I know but do your best. Good luck!

I exercise with other people to relieve stress. Just walking for an hour helps a lot. I can't do running or jumping anymore. By myself is not as good but still helps.

Seeing other people do stuff diverts my brain from bad feelings.
