Hi y'all, what's good? Been a while; I hope you've been well?I have a question now: how does one just go at something without overthinking it? I feel like I overthink a whole lot, and it doesn't feel healthy. I'm on a mission of a thesis project and feel like I just think about it way too much. Also, just yesterday, I was on my school campus, saw this girl I liked, and just kept playing all sorts of negative outcomes in my head with any physical action to walk up to her.
How does one get over ruminating and actually doing things in the moment they need to be done? Sincere comments are appreciated, FAM!😃

Good question. I think by thinking ok well what's the worst thing that can happen if I ask her out ? She could say no ? Ok but will this matter in a week , month , years time?
By trying to think of situations like this the above may help. The situation is something I and probably the entire adult population have experienced at one time. You got this
I understand needing to thoroughly think through your material...but burn out is very common. And sometimes you just have to get out a bowl of popcorn and watch a movie, and take a mental enema.... re-charge your batteries....if you don't... you just spin in circles with no real progress. That's the best way I've found to break the rumination merry-go-round, do something different that takes me someplace else in my head.
Hello my dear friend. It’s your tribal sista. I love the term mental enema. As some of you might know, I work 7 days a week. Got home today after my shift. Ordered pizza delivered to my house, took a Klonopin and have been sleeping. My body needs to heal. We need to practice self-care

Thank you so much for your healing ❤️🩹 thoughts. Truth be known, I’m exhausted. I feel that I will need to make some changes in 2025. Today I feel depressed. Im going thru some hard financial times. Thank you 🙏🏼 for letting me vent.
