Hi y'all remember the frightening field trip I told y'all i was going on in my dept. I'm back!!! It was toouuughhh!!!, but I did it and we are back. Just have to finish writing a report on the experience and the newly acquired skills. I'm so happy it's over for now😊
I'm back!!!: Hi y'all remember the... - Anxiety and Depre...
I'm back!!!
You must be so glad to have had a good experience. Good job... and now hopefully you won't have as much anxiety next time you're facing a challenge. 🥰
I’m anxious just reading this! lol
Really?
Yes, doing anything with groups of people is extremely hard for me. You must be relieved and proud to have gotten through it
Congratulations Don'tJudge! You showed courage, planned and prepared, took action, and when you "do the thing you fear the death of fear is certain". I was worried when I didn't hear from you but now I share in your triumph. Many of my friends stayed the course and got a college degree, and many got good jobs they didn't think was directly related to their major. Geology can be used in many different careers and computers and technology should make your job more fascinating and easier. If you ever have to do a project term paper you might look into what is called "gold or white hydrogen". It's hydrogen that comes out of the ground and can require very little refining. A town in Mali is using it for electricity right out of the ground connected to a fuel cell with no pollution. Great job! Good luck Don'tJudge.
I'm glad to have met you @jjpeabody you were one of the key motivators who keep me in line. I'll look into the Mali situation and see if it's something I might find fascinating however, I don't think I was completely clear earlier, I'm actually studying to the degree of Geophysics, just that in my school. Both Geophysics and Geology are one in a dept.
I'm grateful for you kind words🫶🫶
