I’m feeling like crap

hello,

I was at the mental hospital 3 months ago and things are not getting better. For one, I have no money to even put gas in my car, I go hungry sometimes, and my job forces me to work outside in the hot sun. My last job was with cps and that was very traumatizing as I had to remove babies from their mom. I’m looking for a much better job, but nothing appears and it doesn’t matter I have a master’s. I had to take a part time job where I help lifeskills kids at their job, and of I don’t turn in perfect documentation, I don’t get paid. My chest hurts from this awful hopelessness and sadness 😞

Sorry to hear about your job situation. Its disappointing that employers dont want to pay you adequately for your Masters. Have you thought about teaching?

I was a teacher and that was another bad job, but I’m considering it again. I just feel I have to really leave this small town for my sanity.

I have been a peripatetic teacher and taught in many schools. Some made me really miserable, but others offered great support - like a room to teach in! and a lot of motivated pupils. I know things are different now, but you have to find the right school or group of schools. Good luck - because you have worked hard for your qualifications and deserve respect for that and a job that gives you satisfaction.
