I’m currently on 1.5 mg of Xanax total daily. I was wondering if i can vape weed while on Xanax. Or if anyone here has done it. And what was the effect? I just developed globus sensation from the big piece of apple i swallowed. It scraped the esophagus, my provider surmised, leaving me feeling like it’s still stuck in there (but really it isn’t anymore).
I’ve read weed with Xanax isn’t dangerous in low doses. But i’m unsure what “low dose” means? My anxiety is through the roof. Xanax with seroquel (to supplement it) just isn’t enough anymore. And i don’t want to take more Xanax. I’m anxious every waking hour, having trouble sleeping. suicidal ideation on overdrive. I’m climbing the walls. I want emotional relief. What do i tell myself to make this situation more bearable? Thanks, guys

climbing the walls… I know how that feels. I believe you’ll figure things out. Defidently reach out like you have here. Reach out to your doc and anyone else who could be of help to you. Best to you.
Hi, my experience with Xanax was not good. I took it over a period of 4 yrs or so and although I didn't realise it at the time, it was making my depression, anxiety and thoughts of suicide worse. I'm on Gabapentine and Prozac now and have pretty much stopped the xanax. I also do edibles every night to help with sleep. I took 1.5 mg Xanax last weekend cause I was having a really bad day and I felt great that day, but over-the-top anxious and depressed mon. and tues. to the point of thinking about suicide again.
I didn't want to give up the xanax, but it was actually the best thing I'd done in a long time. Your doctor can help you find alternative anxiety meds that work better long term. Anxiety has fucked up my life since I was a teenager, so I know what a burden this illness is and how detrimental self-medicating in desperation can be.
