I found my baby in the ditch in front of a Zaxby's parking lot one cold and rainy night. He was so tiny and scared he crawled underneath my glove compartment. It was only by sheer luck I was able to get him out. He has been the biggest blessing. I love him just like he's my child! How some people could toss a baby kitten out of their car (or however he ended up in that ditch) is way beyond anything I can even begin to fathom.

Thanks for sharing your baby. It breaks my heart to think that people are walking on this planet capable of such cruelty. He is so beautiful. Enjoy his little life. He was meant to be with you. xxx

Your baby is stunning.

I experienced that cruelty myself years ago now. I was driving on the thruway in a section with narrow shoulders and no walk-on access, when I saw a small dog running on the side of the road. There was no where for it to go, and the accident was inevitable.

I pulled my car as far over as I could, put on my emergency blinkers hoping I'd be safe -- I couldn't actually pull off the road. She was terrified and wouldn't let me get close at first, but she was also running on empty, and finally let me pick up her trembling body. My husband drove us to the vet while I held her in my lap.

A quick examinatiom and shots, home for a flea bath, and a few nutritious meals later; she was a beauty. I found her a good home.

I knew someone had dumped her where I found her. It still horrifies me.

I remember you Tootsie. 🐶💜💜

You're each other's 😇 angels and he's GORGEOUS 🥰 My name is LifeIsThePitts because of my pitbulls. They saved me way more than I saved them.

What beautiful eyes! Thoreau said it best, something like.. Its not that I like people less, it's just that I like nature more..something like that. So glad he has you..and you have him! Thanks for sharing the wonderful photo and story!

All I can think of is what would have happened if you hadn't rescued him 😔

So glad you were there to rescue him, to give him a home and for him to love you unconditionally. It sickens me to hear of the way some people treat animals - any animals, by just abandoning them or being cruel.

It's so good to hear of inspiring stories like yours where there is a happy ending for both of you.
