I been talking to my friends this week. Expressing what I've been going through. It's freeing... I think I've been in this constant state of dissociation. Especially the last 3 years after my brothers death. I watched a video about trauma and the cause it has on memory. Your mind clocks out. I basically turn into a robot carrying a mind. I don't have a lot of memory from the past 8 years. It's almost like a fever dream.

I can relate to what you are saying. I lost a whole decade of my life from PTSD. My memory is just not there.

I refer to my life as robotic when I look back on it. I was unable to break from the past and had such a fear of the future.

Keep expressing yourself. Talking is one of the most helpful things.
