Post viral weird feelings

Hi guys, I posted earlier this month about my "post viral syndrome" following my cold that turned into sinusitis. I'm still feeling bouts of weakness, fatigue and strange depressed feeling.

After browsing the web I've read about something called Cytokines that are created when your immune system is overworked. Apparently when cytokines are released they can become rampant and lead to the strange depressive mood that I'm feeling.

Does anyone out there know how to explain what's going on in "simple terms" with these cytokines and how to regulate them to stop this depressive mood. Thanks guys. Dave 👍
