hi I have had pretty severe anxiety (no panic attacks yet) and insomnia for one month due to a career decision I had to make between two jobs and this has now spiraled me out of control. Tomorrow I have to travel for 1 week for work, the distraction in some ways is good but now I have major anxiety that I won’t be Ok. I need some help and reassurance

Sorry to hear of your situation. A good doctor will be able to identify what is causing the insomnia. Once he or she does so, they can lay out options for improvement.
I know insomnia well. The answers are never easy nor quick to find but there is hope.

Hi, sorry you’ve been having anxiety and insomnia. Just remember that insomnia makes everything seem worse! So when you able to, in your hotel room or wherever, try to meditate, pray, do positive affirmations, muscle relaxation, etc, to get yourself in a safe place emotionally and spiritually. Also, journaling can help with depression and anxiety. You can journal in between meetings, and at night. . Start each day with a positive affirmation or prayers. Also, when you are with people, try to focus on them-ask them questions etc so that you are engaged and functional. Hope it’s going okay.
