Im 31 and live with my parents. I feel stuck in my life. I want a place of my own but im not sure if im comfortable renting a place where the landlord can come into the house whenever he pleases and the only houses to rent are in town. But then houses for sell around the area are old and been remodeled not to good. I feel confused and overwhelmed what to do....any advice?

when I’ve rented in the Los Angeles and Hawaii areas the landlords rarely if ever came in and if they needed to they we contact me first. Maybe ask their policy of communication on visits??
