How are you dealing with your frustration, impatience or negative thoughts and emotions ?
I feel my brain is getting better very slowly. But I feel impatient more lately. Its really hard to perceive the brain recovery from the brain trauma caused by the severe withdrawal of antidepressant.

I've been on a different SSRI for 13 months now. It seems working very slowly since my condition is not exactly same as depression. Hope you're doing ok. Thank you for your help.
I just listened to a guided meditation that said we must not try to learn not to be impatient, but try to learn patience.
The more we fight not sleeping, wandering thoughts, perseverating on negatives...the harder we are making them to overcome. If I say "don't think about a purple gorilla" what are you now thinking about?
I started meditating. I use Headspace App. I journal gratitudes in the morning and wins, no matter how small, just before bed. I only meditate for less than 5 minutes and always guided, until I am better at it.
Thank you for sharing this. I am going to try meditation and definitely the gratitude list in the mornings. I just joined this group today and I am very grateful I found it online.
How are you not going completely crazy? I had a week without serotonin when I was switching meds and that was probably the worst time of my life. I do exercise every day and I'm constantly practicing coping techniques cause I suck at them. I'm also great at telling people to shove off when they're annoying me. When it seems like you're not making progress it helps to write things down so you can look back and see how far you've actually come.
Thank you for reaching out. Truly appreciated it. I hope you're doing ok. I suffered a kinda brain shock=trauma after I came off Lexaoro. It was horrendous and it made me a zombie for a long time. I feel getting better now but the brain recovery from a brain trauma is extremely hard and painful. Pleass take care. Hugs.
