ESA Troubles

I've been getting an ESA set up with my non-pet friendly appartments. My landlords don't want me to get an ESA cat. It took almost a week from my discussion with the Landlords to get them my letter but they have not been easy. I have violated some of my boundaries and rights to try to get them on board and to get things to go smoother and faster. They haven't even confirmed they received the email with the letter (it has only been one day). But part of my problem is I feel betrayed that my husband agreed we would wait until they gave the go ahead to get the cat. There was no timeline on this and I feel betrayed and sad and hopeless because he basically agreed that they don't have to respond and uphold my rights. He didn't even tell me until I was about to just go get the cat because I thought I had held up my end of the bargain.

I have a co worker that went through this. I looked it up. If you have the note they have to honor it whether they want to or not.

Maybe your husband doesn't want to push it and create tension with the landlord

I agree that's what it is. I guess my landlord is also just trying to delay as much as possible.
