So I’ve been taking 30mg of Mirtazapine for about 3 years now. Has anyone here tried to come off Mirtazapine? How did it go?

I did and I'm not gona lie it was rough the first couple nights because I couldn't sleep with out it but I'm glad I came off it just wasn't the right medication for me. Hope you don't have any issues coming off it, are you going on to another one I'm on sertraline 50mg now so much better.

It was good to read your reply to Ben as have just started the transition from Mirtazapine to Sertraline, I am only 3 days into changing and feel so bad I was going to give up but now will keep going. I have been advised to take 15mg Mirtazapine at night and 50 mg Sertraline in the morning for 1 week, then 7.5mg Mirt the following week, then to stop it altogether.

I had a terrible time coming off them virtually no sleep for 2 weeks ended up back on them supposed to be 30mg but only taking 15mg you should do it over a period of months rather than days but that`s my personal opinion mind you.
