Been on mirtazapine for nearly two years. Would like to come off it. But scared of withdrawals. Anyone have experience of coming off it? I have asked a similar question before. Still looking for looking for reassurance.

I came off 15mg daily onto 25mg (or 50mg?) Sertraline abruptly and can say it was the worst 3 months of my life. All I would advise is take your doctors advice and if tapering off do it very very slowly.

Thanks Stu888 for commenting. I will take it slowly.

was on 45 mg reduced by the doctor to the lowest dose and it was terrible so went back up but on quarter of 45mg and honestly not much changed.

Thanks for commenting, Kenster. I'm on 30mg. I hope to get off it. Do you suffer with weight gain?
