Brain zaps

Hello everyone,

For the last 5-6 days I’ve been dealing with what I believe to be a cold unfortunately.

I also suffer from anxiety and depression, the former of which I’ve had my ups and downs with for about 6 years now.

Last night while ringing in the new year with friends I felt a scary depersonalization sensation, which was coupled with brain zaps, dizziness, and some tingling in my tongue and lips.

It was only after I vomited twice that I felt relief, and also a nights sleep. Today, though, I took a nap and after I woke up from that I am now experiencing the brain zaps and slight tingling once again. I’m planning on going to a walk in clinic tomorrow as I have a flight back to NYC where I now live (did I mention I’m horrified of flying?)

safe to say I am scared.

Words, knowledge or advice would be appreciated

Thanks

I get them when I’m sick or changing medications. Most likely being sick.
