Hi. My name is Kay. I’m looking for some tips if anyone has any. I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Lately I have been sweating excessively and the smell of my body comes off very strong. Anything that I apply comes off extra strong and it’s embarrassing. It’s been going on since March of this year. I can’t use deodorants, lotions, or anything because it comes off so strong. Does anyone have any tips for something like this? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. There is a condition called hyperhidrosis ( excessive sweating) so it might be worth speaking to your doctor or a pharmacist, as they might be able to help.
KayShari, I am so sorry you are dealing with this problem. I empathize with how you feel about it. Personally I have found men's deodorants work better than women's regardless of scent. A couple other things that may help would be hand sanitizer you can carry around (I know its weird but I was a CNA during the pandemic and we were so sweaty and it can help some with the smell at least). Another thing that you may look into, but only if you don't have any other options would maybe even be looking into botox injections to reduce the sweating itself. Personally I would not want to do that last one unless your healthcare team doesn't really see another option. Just know that people who really are important in your life will love you and want to be around you regardless. It can be hard to have friends that leave but those aren't people that really care about you as a whole person anyways. Please don't let this condition make you feel less-than anyone else. You are a valuable person who deserves to be cared for and celebrated.
Hi there. I know what you're saying, I have been there. Try meditation, box breathing, walking in nature. I use Lume deodorant. It is a different kind of deodorant and really works. Only available online. Hang in there. It will get better.
