I've recently started having symptoms that I put down to anxiety but some aren't things I experienced before. I find myself feeling really cold, and then starting to shiver quote violently (teeth chattering, body shaking). I've had some investigations into any physical cause but nothing has been identified. Has anyone else had anything like this before?

Hi, Iv e been having this problem for a few weeks now, it started with palpitations had an ECG, blood tests etc etc they said it’s all anxiety, put me on beta blockers , it’s a horrible feeling , like shivery inside , sometimes if I do some deep breathing it helps, I do have fibromyalgia which can cause problems regulating body temperature, so I don’t know, have you spoken to your doctor about this
That sounds very similar to what I'm experiencing! I'd put it down to illness initially but they ran various tests and all looked okay. I have contacted my GP and I'm waiting for a call back. Do you think the beta blockers have helped?
They help with the irregular heartbeat and anxiety a bit, when it was really bad my OH had to ring the Dr as I just couldn’t stop shaking , They gave me a very short course of Diazapam which really helped which makes you think it must be anxiety, but they won’t give them long term as can be addictive, good luck.
I'm sorry you've been through that, but it is reassuring to know it isn't just me as sometimes you're convinced you're the only one going through this. Thank you
I have experienced something like this before. I used to feel uneasy near my chest it's like I am about to throw up. my hands and feet were never in one place. I always have this weird posture due to anxiety. even though physically I may look completely alright. I used to struggle from that mental exhaustion that caused my anxiety. you know it would be amusing if I told you that I cured my anxiety through faith, yoga, and meditation. law of manifestation affirming myself always that my thoughts aren't me, due to affirming myself and putting myself in positive vibration I feel like I am finally free and even though it may come back I know how to deal with it don't underestimate your mind. it can either build you or destroy you.
I had it to where I was cold and had some shaking and felt nauseous but there was no fever so idk I had and still have sometimes brain fog.. Not sure ..
Not all triggers are known. Sometimes its not clear. I do feel exhausted and tire quickly though and I'm pretty sure what it is. Either fibromyalgia or Cfs
