I feel like my life has no meaning. The only purpose I see is to serve God. But how?

Have you tried volunteering, maybe with the homeless or being a mentor or something of that nature.
Hi Marysblue, I can barely move around without pain. It’s a challenge just to take care of myself let alone another person. I’ve done plenty of volunteering in the past before my physical issues arose. There has got to be some way to help others virtually without too much mobility needed. Thanks for the support.
If you go under the Hub on here you can go to posts tab, click and there's a tab for unanswered. A lot of folks don't get an answer and I hate that. Maybe you can like or reply to some of these people on here. Some of the people that go unanswered really could use some support. Maybe there's a crisis line you could volunteer for. They usually just want someone that can listen. I know what it's like to live in chronic pain I had it for about 8 years up until about 2009.
keep being the good example of the refiners fire, light and strength that you are.
I'm so sorry that you're feeling this way. I have similar thoughts in the back of my mind constantly and I know that it's so hard to keep going. Please know that you are needed here and that people love you and care about you. I know it's a very small consolation when you're feeling this way but please just try to get through each day as well as you can and be compassionate with yourself. We're all here for a reason and even when we can't see it, it's there and you will find it.
Feel better soon my friend. 🙏❤️
Sometimes we serve God in ways we least expect. Sometimes it comes down to accepting what His will is for us and being at peace with that. Doing His will won't always be a grand gesture or something that we find gratifying that we can control, so we may not even realize we are serving him. But we serve His will in everything we do, if that makes sense.
God is within you, being a person who helps others is your purpose. It can be little things like saying good morning to someone who is alone. Small gestures go along way. It could be feeding the birds in winter, taking care of a pet. Visiting a lonely person. Appreciation of nature and wildlife is also good. Your purpose is to enjoy your life with gratitude and kindness. In my thinking. Ray.
Thank you so much!
