I got a message from the NHS inviting me to book an appointment for my covid jab.
I did it all via the NHS app & it's stress free & took all of a minute. Infact the hardest question was what accessibility needs I require at the pharmacy & they give you a list of 5 & book at your nearest one.
Once you've chosen the pharmacy ( not being given at doctors surgeries this time ) you pick a time & day you feel is best for you or its when if you have a carer goes with you.
Also at the start they ask questions & one is if you're a carer as a carer you may be entitled to get jab too.
I know I've rambled a tad bit but I just wanted to
1. let others know you can now book an appointment for the Covid jab.
2. I've given as much detail to ensure that you see its not a stressful experience as it usually is & sites crash all the time, but this was smooth .
3. Give a heads up so you can share this with other people who are vulnerable & their carers may be entitled to the jab.
4. wish you all a great day for every day that ends in a Y.
Finally
I wish U love and light on ur journey ✨️

Ah well I had my flu jab at doctors surgery & only needed the covid jab & mid December is 8-9 weeks away, surely if U split them u could get them sooner? However ur situation may be that mid December suits U & that is perfect for U.
All I know is after I get my jab I'm out of commission for 48 hours due to effects , its the same with flu jab too.
I need to do mine too. I was sadly neglectful and thought "I already got 3 jabs. I'm fine" well I got COVID in September. But luckily for me it was very mild. So I'm not making that mistake again. I will get the newest booster. And of course my flu shot. I never miss my flu shot.
We can never be safe enough as scientists have said the covid virus is mutating all the time & as U say CG is was mild & thank the universe it is but next time it could be more potent & we all need to be careful & responsible too.
I've got mine on Saturday at the GP hub. I was invited by the NHS and my GP surgery as I'm immunocompromised . This will be my 8th! I'm usually a little unwell afterwards but nothing too serious.Had my flu jab last week -I'd gone for my B12 jab and the nurse offerred me the flu one there and then.Just a bit tired for a day or so.
It was my intension to let folk know that they rolling out a new vaccine & how to book via app as usually I know they crash & we get very stressed & upset & angry too.
I've had my flu jab at doctors surgery, that had me rough for a couple of days as usual & the covid jab will too.
At least I will feel mentally better for having it & be able to work on my phobia of not going out due to fear of getting ill. Lockdown did a number on my thinking as I had to shield like many others & when we were allowed out I found more comfort staying indoors safe but we know we can let things dictate how we should be enjoying out lives & not live in fear , however easier said than done.
Again I'm glad my post helped & it's open for all to see & I hope they do & then it's up to them what they do.
