don’t have the energy for a long store here. I’ve had bad anxiety for more than a decade. It just would help to hear your kind words and hope from other people with anxiety issues. Thank you. God bless you.

I just wanted to welcome you and offer you reassurance that you are not alone. There are many people here who understand. There are people who post here who have recovered from anxiety and they share their journey with us. It is very encouraging. There is hope.

hey! when i feel overwhelmed, i first take a minute to just feel it entirely. if you alwaysss push it away it won’t go away! after i allow myself a little, i like to remind myself what i’m in control of. reflect on this until it resonates. never let anyone judge you or make you feel bad for how you need to respect yourself, but keep an open mind that you possibly can do more to keep improving. it could be the difference between a totally dark day and a day that’s slightly grey. even if it’s corny, i really like the saying “it’s a bad couple minutes not a bad day”. try to keep your zen, and remember that turning to a support group is a WIN. cheers to choosing a healthy option to cope.

There is hope, especially if it hasn't been a life-time thing like for most of us. You might find out what triggers your anxiety and see if you can avoid it or live in the moment and not think of the next day.

There is great help in exercise (like swimming or walking) works like a medication. Have a diet focusing on fruits, grains, and vegetables and no red meat; cut down on sugar and salt and fat. Find a diet source to help with this on-line. Meditation--how to do it on line. Regular sleep--all of these are natural methods ignored by most doctors who just give out pills with side effects. If you have a religion, practicing prayer and reading elevating literature can change your mood--and thankfulness every day. It's called changing the brain to change those neurotransmitters that have been locked into fear. But you may have to accept the fact that you will always have a tendency to be anxious, and not let it ruin your day-to-day plans and desires. You are still OK and you are loved.
