Health Anxiety

I’m certain I’m not alone in this, but I am so tired of feeling anxious any time any little health issue arises with me. If I have ultrasounds for example or a CT scan, I’m terrified they’re going to find something seriously wrong with me. How do the rest of you, who feel the same way, cope with it?Waiting for results is so anxious for me. I’m reaching out because I feel kind of desperate to resolve these feelings.

the anxiety of the unknown is what gets me..for example....went to the er the other night with pain in my leg and chest...and breathing difficulty....was worried that it might be cardiac....did tests and ruled it out.....was worried that my dvt or pe clots were back....did ct scan everything came back normal....for me it's a relief to know that everything is coming back normal

I am the same and the only way to get relief is to get checked out. I know that makes it worse at the time and takes over your life, but it’s the only way for me to keep it together. It’s mental torture. Wishing you peace.
