I’m engaged! - wedding worries

I recently got engaged on my birthday 8/11! Although, I’m super excited to marry the love of my and can’t wait to plan, I suffer from anxiety and my nerves are bad when it comes to planning. I want something small and intimate. Any advice on wedding stress?

They say positive things like getting married can be just as stressful as negative issues in your life, so be patient with yourself. Also, planning a small wedding can be almost as tricky as planning a larger wedding because you still need all the same things to make it happen, i.e., napkins, tablecloths, cake, etc. So, get someone to help you plan your wedding, and give yourself plenty of time. 🤗 Congratulations!🎂

Congratulations! Haha - I let my mother-in-law do most of my wedding planning because she loves that kind of stuff and I didn't even care, would have been fine eloping. It still was somewhat stressful, but let other people do things if it's the kind of thing they like. Our wedding was small too - about 50 people - which I was glad about as I felt I didn't have time to talk to everyone as it was!
