Laying here awake unable to sleep! Knowing that I will be back awake in a couple of hours time!

I think it’s the medication that is causing sleepiness

That's what I blame my lack of sleep on, but my brain really gets active late at night and early morning, I live alone and am retired, no friends, nothing to look forward to, no interests, could that be a reason IncognitoC? Diets, another contender?

I think it may be a mix of things. Over active brain- medication- and my living situation!

It can be frustrating. I went through a solid month where I couldn’t sleep and my mind would constantly race with thoughts. I think the worst was going to bed wondering if I’d be able to sleep and then not be able to sleep because of it. It eventually passed and I was able to get a descent 7 hours of sleep.

I find that I worry about getting to sleep and then I’m thinking about it so much that I can’t sleep

That’s what happens. I tried lots of remedies and my Dr even prescribed Trazodone. It didn’t work. What did help was cbd gummies.
