Awake
It’s an awful feeling when your mind is racing and ruminating over things...it’s exhausting but sleep don’t come.
My saving grace became guided meditation. I would never get to sleep without it now....my mind does often wonder off when it’s playing, and I keep bringing it back to the meditation..I eventually fall asleep. I only ever use meditations that are around a hour long and I don’t get to the end 😊 and I’m asleep.
There are lots to choose from on you tube..Jason Stephenson and Michael Sealey do lots and are good.
I know what works for one doesn’t always work for another but it’s worth a try. I think perseverance initially can be the key...
Will attach a link with an example for you here.
Best wishes. X

I have tried guided meditation in the past when I was in college and just out of college. Some interesting thoughts and perception changes, seeing different angles to things. But it never has done anything for my anxiety/depression or this lost feeling. Thank you for the link though, I will watch it once I'm done work.
Hope things improve for you ..
I use it as one of my distraction techniques..I know we each find our own ways via trial and error..
Wish you well 🌹🌹
Thank you.
((((((AlLeYkAt86))))))) Hug for you
Thank you. How are you?
Do you take any meds for sleep? I use benedryl and melotonin.
Yeah I've tried advil pm hoping to satisfy sleep and headache but I just lay there like an idiot.
I know how that feels. I hope your body gets back into nighttime sleep mode soon. Do you sleep during the day at all? How long has it been since you slept?
That's the worst. Especially when you can't stop your thoughts from racing even when you want to. Then of course not being able to sleep paired with having to get up for work the next day. Looks like from the prior responses that meds and meditation don't work for you. I had the same problem a long time ago where melatonin didn't work after a while and sleep became more like a game of chance.
I'm sorry you're dealing with this right now.
It is a crap shoot. Thank you.
That it is. Worst game of sleep monopoly ever.
Don't know what to say to help, but I do sympathize. I fall asleep OK, but wake up miserable :/
