My son is currently struggling at work (law enforcement) extremely stressed. He's beginning to question his ability to perform his dities. It pains me to see him suffering so much anxiety. It's affecting the whole family. He says he needs to just power through, however i fear the impact on his mental health .

As a public safety official I struggle with PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and depression. What I have found that has helped me is there is a program that I got involved in that helped me work through all of the things. I’m a Nurse and I’ve been. Off for 2 and a half months. I’m not sure where your son lives. I’m in California and am able to go on EDD and my employer also pays me for sick leave. Have him go to his primary care Dr. And have him off then he can apply to disability so he can take care of himself. Other wise he won’t be able to care of himself or his family. Also maybe he can join this group

I strongly urge you to look into the battle within also....it is in the kansas city area however it is available nationwide.
