Expressing your true feelings doesn't mean you're negative, dramatic or difficult. It means you're human. Sometimes we struggle.

Totally agree. ALL EMOTIONS ARE VALID. That doesn't mean we are even going to act on them, but sometimes we are angry, resentful, sad, depressed, anxious, worried when maybe we could be excited, etc.

But until we firmly believe that it is ok to not be ok....it will always be a struggle. I struggle with the feeling like a burden...i struggle with the fact that my chosen career in corrections has made me very cynical....yet i keep fighting..one breath at a time
