extreme exhaustion

sorry for all of the posts. This is just a great outlet for me to share how I’m feeling and have my feelings be heard. I’m in the airport waiting to board to go home and I am extremely exhausted. It’ll be around 6pm by the time I make it back to my apartment. I am so tired and just want to sleep when I get home. Is this fatigue normal? I’m so scared I’m getting covid. I feel fine just so exhausted . I was in nashville and out late every night and didn’t get good sleep

Hi Daisy, this is quite normal to be tired and exhausted. More so from the

emotional stress you were put through. Have a great flight home, maybe

even catch some zzz's while you're flying. You're homeward bound now.

Give us a quick "i'm home" when you step foot inside your apartment.

You've got this Daisy, I always knew you would. :) xx

I’m struggling with insomnia so I’m exhausted all the time. Hang in there and I will try to do the same.

Sounds like your body needs to catch up on some good sleep. Was your trip nice?

so happy for you good job

I understand this all too well. I've just learned about dysregulation and, it kinda sounds like that to me. I suggest that while traveling back, and when you get home, be sure to hydrate and nourish your body, as it helps your mind regulate. Maybe try some grounding techniques as well?

Also, I think- definitely get as much sleep as you can.

Dysregulation happens to me and, those are the things I do to help. I'm sending you light ✨️. You're ok. Hugs 🫂

"Is this fatigue normal?"

Short answer - yes.

More than likely it's anxiety and stress.

.

"I’m in the airport waiting to board to go home"

This is good news, and let's keep it simple.

You are at the airport, and that's a HUGE step completed. :)

.

You're goal right now is just to simply "Chill" till you get on the plane, and then you can really chill.

If you want, relax and listen to music or read, but either way this is good news.

& Remember, we are here for you. :)

thank you so much!! I just really hope my friends aren’t annoyed with me after this trip. I’m am open book and am not afraid to share how I’m feeling or show my emotions (cry). Friday was a lot of struggling and crying and I just hope they doesn’t make them think any less of me, or make them never want to travel with me again

You made it Daisy! So proud of you.

I know if I get too stressed or have too much anxiety I am super fatigued where I will sleep the afternoon away then go right back to bed after dinner. For me I think it’s a coping mechanism (sleep so I can avoid what is making me anxious).

I bet your is a combo of emotional fatigue, poor sleep on your trip and traveling in general. Plane trips are exhausting in themselves.

Glad you made it home okay. Put on some comfy clothes and chill 💜

I think everything you went through is pretty common for someone with anxiety, you had a lot of doubts but kept going forward, that's how it works, good for you. It'll get a little easier each time. Acknowledging progress is really important, do something good for yourself as a reward.
